This app. requires root access to work correctly. The name says it all – it reveals the list of apps that start up with the phone.
This means apps may run in the background without your knowledge due to auto starting.
The implication is that once these apps are start up, they consume battery power. For heavy usage users, this is bad news because high power consumption leads to shorter battery usage.
The Autostarts app allow the user to regain control over the apps that run during start up. Apps that are not frequently used can be disabled so that they don’t consume power in the background.
It’s not free though – cost a dollar.
But if it can help save % in power consumption, it can be a really useful app.
