APK Downloader

Today, we came across an interesting video that shows how APK files can be downloaded directly from the Android Market. The tool requires Google Chrome 17+ to work. Please note that this is a tool that was initially developed for personal use. The developer then decided to release it to the public as not every has access to the Android Market to download APK files. After installation, the tool will allow you to download files directly from the Android Market. Note that this is against Android Market’s TOS, use we don’t recommend that you use it, or if you really want to use it, use it for personal use only. The only reason why we published the info here is because we found it an interesting read. Please don’t use it for piracy or do anything illegal with it.

Note that there are some settings you will need to disable within Chrome for this to work. Here is the original apk downloader web page.

Now, you don’t really need this to use apk files. You can always use something like Astro File manager to backup your files in apk format.
